Wike Urges Voter Support for APC Ahead of FCT Elections

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), addressed a campaign rally in Apo District, Abuja, on Thursday, ahead of the local council elections scheduled for Saturday. He called on voters to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, specifically for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship position.

Wike assured the residents of the FCT that they would enjoy the dividends of democracy if they cast their votes for the APC candidates. He emphasized the importance of local governance and urged the electorate not to vote for candidates from other parties, stating, "Do your own and leave the other ones for me." The elections will see the election of six area council chairmen across Abaji, AMAC, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kuje, and Kwali, along with councillors for 62 wards.
