DOAM Foundation's 15th Charity Golf Tournament Set for April

The DOAM Foundation, through its Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial Foundation, announced plans to hold its 15th annual charity golf tournament on April 18 at the Ikoyi Club 1938. This event is part of the foundation's efforts to raise funds for healthcare and education initiatives targeting underserved communities.

The tournament serves as a key fundraising platform to sustain its intervention programs, which have impacted 95,000 beneficiaries since inception. Initiatives include free medical outreach, scholarships for indigent students, mentorship programs for tertiary education, and educational skill acquisition programs.

Bukunmi Osunsina, the media liaison officer for the foundation, noted that proceeds from the tournament will be directed towards expanding the reach of these programs. She emphasized the foundation's reliance on corporate and individual sponsors who share the vision of improving lives.

The organizing committee comprises a multinational team of corporate golfers committed to delivering a high-quality experience, maintaining the event's tradition of excellence. The qualifying round is scheduled for April 4, 2026.
