Duke Advocates for Common Man in 2027 Elections

Donald Duke, the presidential flag bearer for the People's Redemption Party (PRP), stated that the 2027 elections should focus on the common man rather than political elites. Speaking in Abuja, Duke lamented the desolation of the land due to banditry and kidnapping, noting that approximately N2 trillion was paid in ransom in 2025 alone, which is equivalent to 10% of the entire federal budget.

He criticized current leadership for failing to uphold the rights of citizens and promised to empower ordinary Nigerians, including market women and unemployed graduates. Duke's mission is to restore hope and rebuild Nigeria, emphasizing the need for leadership that strengthens democratic institutions and tackles poverty.

Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahm, the national chairman of the PRP, described Duke as the best choice to lead Nigeria and address the challenges facing the nation, including the need for justice and accountability in governance.
