Friends urge Hon Faleke to focus on national duties

Janes Abiodun Faleke, a group advocating for Hon James Faleke, who represents the Ikeja federal constituency, issued a statement urging him to concentrate on his responsibilities in the House of Representatives and support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The statement, signed by Otunba Olukayode Biobaku, PhD, expressed concern over political activities aimed at drawing Faleke into Kogi state politics.

The group emphasized that Faleke should not be distracted by individuals motivated by personal ambition rather than collective party interests. They highlighted his long-standing service since 2011 and his expertise in fiscal oversight and legislative governance.

The group called for political actors to refrain from creating false narratives about Faleke's political intentions, asserting that his focus should remain on strengthening the APC nationally and supporting President Tinubu's economic reforms.
