Olubadan Should Be Excluded from Politics, Says Oladoja

Mogaji Akinsola Olawal Oladoja, speaking from Ibadan, Oyo State, cautioned former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose to leave the Olubadan out of political disputes. Oladoja described Fayose's recent comments against Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as reflecting "irredeemable delusion." He expressed concern over Fayose's continued criticism of Makinde despite the alleged goodwill and support the governor has extended in the past.

Oladoja noted that Fayose, who claims to love Ibadan, appears to attack the city and its pride. He further warned against involving the highly revered Olubadan in political controversies, stressing that the monarch should remain a father figure regardless of political affiliations.

Oladoja urged political actors to engage with decorum and respect for traditional institutions, emphasizing that the people of Ibadan will continue to defend the dignity and integrity of the Olubadan stool.
