Jarvi Advises Singles on Financial Stability Before Marriage

Amad Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvi, a Nigerian TikTok creator, has advised singles not to rush into marriage without financial stability. In a recent livestream, she urged Nigerian youth to avoid societal pressures regarding marriage until they are financially secure.

Jarvi suggested that individuals should plan their weddings carefully to minimize expenses, recommending that couples consider having a traditional wedding one year and a white wedding the following year. She stated, "If you don’t have money, don’t marry," and encouraged people to prepare adequately for their weddings, even if it means postponing them for several years.

Jarvi also announced that her traditional wedding to fellow TikTok star Peller took place last month in Benin City, Edo State, and their white wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2026.
