Clerics Urge Otti to Continue Politics Beyond 2027

Clerics from the Pentecost Fellowship Nigeria (PFN) Abia State Chapter, led by Archbishop Dr. Chikezi Elekwa, have advised Governor Alex Otti not to exit politics after his second term.

During a courtesy visit, they expressed their support for Otti's re-election bid in 2027, urging him to allow the public to decide his political future rather than withdrawing from the political scene. Archbishop Elekwa emphasized that Otti should not disappear from the political landscape after eight years and reassured him that the PFN would mobilize grassroots support for his campaign, stating that he does not need to campaign actively as the organization would handle it.

The clerics pledged their full support and acknowledged the significant role of the Christian community in Otti's emergence as governor, highlighting the administration's core mission to restore dignity to the people and rewrite the story of Abia State.
