Otti Supports Tinubu's Second-Term Bid, Says Lawmaker

In a recent statement, Abia State Governor Alex Otti has been confirmed by lawmaker Frank Chinasa to not oppose President Bola Tinubu's bid for a second term in office. This announcement was made during the flag-off of a solar light project in Umuimenyi, Bend Local Government Area.

Chinasa, who is affiliated with the Labour Party, noted that both Otti and Tinubu deserve a second term based on their performance in office. He emphasized the need for public confidence in governance and the importance of political experience.

The project, which includes the installation of 486 solar-powered street lights across Uzuakoli and Umuimenyi wards, aligns with Otti's development vision. Chinasa urged community leaders to take ownership of the project to ensure its sustainability.

Local government chairman Uwabunkeony Bassei and other officials praised Chinasa for attracting this project to the area, which is part of the Niger Delta Development Commission's initiatives.
