Goje Urges Supporters to Reject APC Candidates in Gombe

Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, a former Governor of Gombe State and current Senator representing Gombe Central, addressed his supporters at his residence in Gombe, directing them not to vote for candidates who worked against his bid for a return ticket to the Senate. He specifically mentioned the two House of Representatives candidates, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo for Akko Federal Constituency and Hon. Inuwa Garba for Yamaltu/Deba Federal Constituency, along with the Gombe Central senatorial candidate DCP Mohammed Ahmed (Rtd).

Goje indicated that the denial of his ticket was a betrayal by certain forces within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and emphasized that loyalty should lie with the people rather than individuals who undermine their interests. He encouraged his supporters to vote for any candidate except those he identified, stating he would provide further directives regarding candidates for governorship and State House of Assembly seats.

Goje has represented Gombe Central since 2011 after serving two terms as governor.
