Ganduje Open to Reconciliation with Kwankwaso Amid Political Shift in Kano

Governor Ganduje of Kano State stated in an interview with BBC that he is willing to reconcile with his political rival, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, despite their longstanding differences. This gesture follows the defection of Governorship candidate Abba Kabir Yusuf from NNPP to APC, reshaping the political landscape in Kano State.

Ganduje emphasized that their faith as Muslims prohibits permanent estrangement, hinting at a potential fresh start in their political relationship. He also addressed speculations about power-sharing arrangements, denying claims of a 60-40 split in favor of his administration.
