Drug Kingpin, Five Others In NDLEA Custody Over Arrest Of Three Nigerians In Saudi Arabia

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a six-member drug syndicate, including drug kingpin Mohammed Ali Abubakar, for their involvement in the arrest of three innocent Nigerians in Saudi Arabia. The syndicate was operating at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano and was discovered following the shipment of illicit substances with the innocent Nigerians on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

The three Nigerians were detained in Jeddah on allegations of drug trafficking after illicit drugs were found in their luggage, which had been tagged by the syndicate without their knowledge. The NDLEA has already charged four members of the syndicate and is working with Saudi authorities to ensure the innocent Nigerians are exonerated.
