Druski Attributes Comedy Success to Drake's Support

Druski, a sketch comedian, credited Drake with transforming his career during an appearance on The Diary of a CEO. He stated that being cast in the 2020 "Laugh Now Cry Later" music video was a pivotal moment that changed his life.

Following the video, which featured Drake and Lil Durk, as well as athletes like Marshawn Lynch, Kevin Durant, and Odell Beckham Jr., brands began to take him seriously, viewing him as a legitimate star rather than just another comedian. Druski explained that this recognition led to a shift in how he was perceived in the industry, resulting in increased financial opportunities.

The music video peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received two Grammy nominations. Druski has since hosted the BET Awards, won a Webby Special Achievement Award, and toured arenas, further solidifying his status in the comedy world.
