DSS Arraigns Terrorist Linked to Deadly Church Attack in Kogi

The Department of State Services (DSS) arraigned a terrorist, believed to be the mastermind behind a fatal church attack in Kogi, before Justice Joyc Abdulmalik at the Federal High Court in Abuja. The suspect, identified as Obadaki, is associated with the Ansaru terrorist group and was previously involved in a bank robbery in Edo State.

Obadaki pleaded guilty to charges of terrorism, conspiracy, aiding an attack, and escaping custody. The case has been adjourned to January 26, 2026, with Obadaki remaining in DSS custody pending further hearings.
