DSS Halts Illegal Lithium Transportation in Kwara, Collaborates with Ministry of Solid Minerals

The Department of State Services (DSS) halted the illegal transportation of lithium in Kwara, intercepting seven trucks suspected of transporting the mineral illegally. The operation, led by Ganiyu Ajibad of the South West Zonal Mine Office, was prompted by credible intelligence.

The Ministry of Solid Minerals Development collaborated with the DSS, engaging the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to track and intercept the convoy. Dr.
