DSS Operations in Imo State Kill Two ESN Commanders

The Department of State Services (DSS) has led sustained counter-insurgency operations against suspected Eastern Security Network (ESN) militants in Imo State, resulting in significant disruptions to the group's activities. In the past month, security operatives neutralized several suspected ESN fighters, including two notorious commanders: Solomon Akarachukwu Alisiobi, known as “Maddox,” and Chima Azubuogu, alias “Akajiofor.” These operations targeted camps linked to commanders Ifeanyi Okorienta-Eze, also known as “Gentle de Yahoo,” and Monday Oluchi Ogu, referred to as “B44.” The DSS has been credited with providing intelligence and operational leadership for these joint operations, which have led to a noticeable reduction in violent attacks and improved public confidence in security in the state.

The coordinated offensives have reportedly forced surviving ESN members into disarray, complicating their ability to coordinate attacks.
