DSS Witness Identifies Attackers of Owo Catholic Church in Ondo State Trial

A witness from the Department of State Services (DSS) identified two of the five defendants standing trial for the deadly assault on St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.

The witness, protected for security reasons, testified that Al Qasim Idri and Abdulhaleem Idri were among those who carried out the attack. The prosecution claimed that several lives were lost and others injured in the assault.

The attack occurred during a church service, leading to panic and chaos among parishioners. Gunshots and explosions caused casualties and destruction within the church premises.
