Super Eagles Camp Opens in Turkey with Iwobi Present

The Super Eagles' camp has officially opened in Antalya, Turkey, with star player Alex Iwobi arriving early in preparation for upcoming friendly matches against Iran on March 27 and Jordan shortly thereafter. The camp has seen the arrival of 14 players, including Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, Philip Otel, Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon, Francis Uzoho, Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, Adebayo Adeleye, Samuel Chukwueze, and Maduka Okoye.

Additionally, team officials have dismissed rumors regarding a burglary at Iwobi's residence, which allegedly resulted in a loss of £200,000 worth of valuables. The reports were debunked as false, confirming that nothing occurred at Iwobi's home.

The Super Eagles are preparing for these international friendlies as they aim to rebound after missing qualification for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
