Super Eagles Camp in Antalya Expands to 21 Players

The Super Eagles' training camp in Antalya, Turkey, has increased to 21 players as they prepare for an upcoming international friendly match against Iran on March 31. Six additional players joined the camp on Wednesday morning, boosting the squad that initially saw early arrivals on Tuesday.

Key players in the camp include Fisayo Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, and Wilfred Ndidi, who has been named captain alongside Iwobi and Ademola Lookman. The team is currently lodged at the Belli Deluxe Hotel, with training sessions scheduled for 4 PM local time (2 PM Nigerian time).

Head coach Eric Cheikh emphasized the importance of maximizing training sessions to build team cohesion and implement strategies effectively. The Super Eagles are set to face Iran in Antalya due to security concerns in the Middle East.
