Super Eagles Begin Camp in Turkey for Friendlies

The Super Eagles have commenced their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, in preparation for upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan. A total of 15 players, including Fisayo Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, and others, arrived at the camp, which opened on Tuesday.

The first training session is scheduled for Wednesday at 4 PM local time (2 PM Nigeria time). Coach Eric Chell has named Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, and Ademola Lookman as the team’s captains.

The matches are set to take place on March 27 at 4 PM against Iran and on March 31 at 8 PM against Jordan. The camp atmosphere has been reported as positive, with the media officer promising that the early turnout of players is encouraging.

The coaching staff aims to maximize training sessions to ensure team cohesion and proper preparation for the matches.
