Akpabio's Easter Message: Hope for Nigeria's Security

On Easter Sunday, Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, delivered a message at the Major Convention of the Apostolic Church in Ikot Ekpen, Akwa Ibom State. He acknowledged the deep pain and loss experienced by Nigerians due to ongoing security challenges, particularly among families of fallen security personnel.

Akpabio expressed condolences to these families, emphasizing that the nation shares in their grief. He assured Nigerians that the current wave of insecurity would soon be overcome, expressing confidence that Nigeria would ultimately defeat the challenges posed by insecurity.

He drew parallels between the Easter message of hope and the nation's struggles, stating that just as Christ's resurrection symbolizes triumph, Nigeria's story will reach a victorious conclusion. Akpabio urged unity and solidarity among the people, encouraging them to reject hatred and embrace togetherness as they await a brighter future.
