Ecobank Launches InnovateX 2026 for Young Innovators

Ecobank Nigeria is launching InnovateX 2026, its flagship youth innovation challenge aimed at empowering young Nigerians aged 16 to 25. The initiative, in partnership with Verve and powered by Blaze by Ecobank, seeks to support students, innovators, entrepreneurs, and creatives by providing funding, mentorship, business development support, and access to industry experts.

With a total of N20 million in prizes, InnovateX goes beyond financial rewards by offering participants an intensive innovation journey that includes hybrid bootcamps, expert-led workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities. Participants can work on projects in technology, engineering, science, product design, content creation, digital media, entertainment, fashion, and other creative fields.

Victor Yalokwu, Head of Products & Analytics at Ecobank Nigeria, stated that the initiative aims to help young Nigerians convert their creativity into sustainable businesses. InnovateX is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, mentorship, and resources to thrive in a technology-driven economy.
