ECOWAS Launches Recruitment for 30+ Positions in Nigeria

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has commenced a recruitment exercise for over 30 positions across its various institutions, inviting qualified citizens from member states, including Nigeria, to apply. This recruitment initiative aims to strengthen the implementation of its sector programs.

Interested candidates can find details on the ECOWAS website and are encouraged to apply for roles such as Office Aid, Program Assistant, Document Archivist, Office Manager, Bilingual Secretary, Junior Accountant, Legal Officer, Political Advisor, Principal Officer, and Registrar, among others. Positions are available both within Nigeria and in other locations, including Addis Ababa, Liberia, Conakri, and Dakar, Senegal.

Applicants must meet age requirements depending on the role category, with general service support positions requiring candidates to be under 35 years old, while professional categories require candidates to be under 45 years old, and director positions under 50 years old. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2026, and ECOWAS warns applicants against fraudulent requests for payment, emphasizing that no fees are charged for recruitment.
