ECOWAS Launches Recruitment for 30 Positions

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has commenced a recruitment exercise aimed at enhancing its institutional capacity by inviting qualified citizens from member states, particularly Nigeria, to apply for 30 available positions. The notice was published on ECOWAS's official website on Thursday.

The roles include positions such as Office Aid, Program Assistant, Document Archivist, Office Manager, Bilingual Secretary, Junior Accountant, Legal Officer, Political Advisor, Principal Officer, Registrar, and Head of Division. Notably, several positions are located in Abuja, Nigeria, while others are spread across the region, including roles in Addis Ababa, Liberia, Conakri, and Dakar.

Applicants must meet specific requirements based on the category of the role. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2026.

ECOWAS has warned prospective applicants against fraudulent schemes and emphasized that there are no fees associated with the recruitment process. The organization encourages female candidates to apply and will contact shortlisted applicants.
