ECOWAS Opens Applications for 2026 Recruitment Drive

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 recruitment exercise, aimed at strengthening its operations and improving program delivery across various sectors. The recruitment offers job opportunities for qualified candidates from member countries, including Nigeria.

Available positions include roles in administration, healthcare, finance, legal services, and political advisory positions, with specific vacancies located in Abuja and other cities across Africa, such as Addis Ababa, Liberia, Conakri, and Dakar. Applicants for general service support roles must not exceed 35 years of age, while those applying for professional roles should not be older than 45 years.

Candidates for director-level positions must not exceed 50 years. Interested candidates are required to complete the official application form and submit it along with a curriculum vitae and a motivation letter.

The deadline for submission is April 30, 2026. ECOWAS has cautioned applicants against fraud and emphasized that the recruitment process is free of charge, encouraging women to apply.
