Mayaki Praises Okpebholo for Rancor-Free APC Congress

John Mayaki, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, commended Governor Mondai Okpebholo for the successful and peaceful conduct of the state congress. In a statement issued on Thursday in Benin City, Mayaki highlighted the unity within the party and praised Okpebholo's leadership qualities and capacity to bring together various interest groups across the three senatorial districts of the state.

He expressed gratitude towards party leaders, particularly Emperor Jarret Teneb, who was elected as the new party chairman. Mayaki described the congress as seamless and peaceful, reflecting the long-standing integrity and dedication of Teneb and his executive committee.

He also acknowledged the contributions of other notable leaders, including former governor Adam Oshiomhole, Minister Abubakar Momoh, former Deputy Governor Pius Odubu, and others. Mayaki expressed confidence that Teneb's experience and reputation would enable the new executive committee to fulfill its responsibilities effectively over the next four years.
