Edo APC Inaugurates New Exco, Aims for 2027 Dominance

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated its newly elected state executive committee on Tuesday. The event was led by the state chairman, Emperor Jarret Teneb, who declared the committee ready to consolidate the party's structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Teneb highlighted the importance of unity and internal democracy within the party, noting the recent influx of members from opposition parties as a sign of growth. He expressed confidence that the APC would become the preferred platform for the people of Edo State, aiming for a significant victory in the upcoming elections.

Teneb also stressed the need for the party to align its policies with the agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and emphasized the goal of delivering 2.5 million votes for Tinubu in the forthcoming elections. He assured that mobilization efforts would intensify, particularly among youth and women, and acknowledged the media's continued support.
