Edo Governor Appoints Terri Igiebor as Ecological Fund Chair

On Monday, Edo State Governor Mondai Okpebholo approved the nomination of Terri Igiebor as the chairman of the Edo State Ecological Fund Management Commission. This move is part of an initiative to strengthen environmental management and promote grassroots development across Edo State.

Terri Igiebor is described as a distinguished businessman and grassroots politician, well-recognized for his commitment to community development and empowering people at the grassroots level. He previously served as a member of the Edo State Audit Service Commission, where he played a role in promoting accountability and transparency in governance.

The nomination will be forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for legislative consideration and confirmation in line with statutory requirements. According to Umar Ikhilor, the appointment is expected to bolster the state's efforts in managing ecological funds to address environmental challenges and advance sustainable development initiatives across Edo State.
