Etsako West LG Chairman-Elect Visits NIS DG Shaibu

On Thursday, Hon. Romeo Alaoy Omoik, the newly elected chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area (LGA), visited Comrade Philip Shaibu, the Director General of the National Institute for Sports, in Abuja.

During this courtesy visit, Omoik presented his certificate of return and expressed gratitude for Shaibu's mentorship and unwavering commitment to the development of Edo State. He described Shaibu as a leader whose experience continues to inspire younger public office holders.

Omoik pledged loyalty to the political leadership of Edo State, emphasizing the importance of unity and respect for elders in advancing the interests of the people. He outlined his administration's priorities, including addressing insecurity, environmental challenges, and improving the welfare of primary schools to enhance educational conditions.

Omoik also highlighted the need for collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force and local stakeholders to improve community safety and protect lives and property. He concluded the visit on a cordial note, expressing optimism for stronger cooperation among political leaders.
