Edo Governor Okpebholo Condemns Attack on ADC Members

Governor Okpebholo of Edo State issued a strong condemnation of a recent attack on members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing it as an unfortunate incident that took advantage of the state's peaceful atmosphere. In a statement released on Tuesday, he expressed sympathy for the affected ADC members and emphasized that such violence would not be tolerated.

The governor highlighted that the motives behind the attack remain unclear but strongly believes it aims to discredit Edo State and undermine its reputation as a peaceful region in Nigeria. He urged political groups to resolve internal disputes without resorting to violence and advised against making external accusations that could escalate tensions.
