Edo Queens Win Second NWFL Title in 2025/26 Season

Edo Queens claimed their second Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) title during the 2025/26 season. The decisive match took place in Port Harcourt, where Edo Queens played to a 0-0 draw against Bayelsa Queen.

This result allowed Edo Queens to finish the playoffs at the top of the standings with a total of 10 points accumulated over five games. This victory marks the second time Edo Queens has won the NWFL title.

Bayelsa Queen ended the playoffs in second place, finishing eight points behind the champions. Nasarawa Amazon missed the chance to contend for the title after also playing to a 0-0 draw against River Angels.
