Katsina State Allocates N156.3 Billion to Education in 2026 Budget

Katsina State's 2026 budget prioritizes education with N156.3 billion allocated, representing 17.14% of the total budget. Governor Dikko Radda presented a budget estimate of N897.8 billion, with N117.1 billion proposed for the Ministry of Works, Housing, and Transport.

The budget theme is "Build Future III," indicating a 30% increase from the 2025 budget to enhance development projects. Additionally, the Katsina State Scholarship Board approved N372 million for bursaries, benefiting over 24,000 continuing students.
