EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede Re-elected as NACIWA President, Emphasizing Anti-Corruption Efforts

Ola Olukoyede, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has been re-elected as the President of the Network of Anti-Corruption Institutions in West Africa (NACIWA). The re-election took place during the annual general assembly in Abuja, where members commended Olukoyede's leadership in combating transnational economic crimes.

The assembly focused on promoting the adoption of ECOWAS guidelines for borderless investigations and asset recovery. It also emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in combating corruption and enhancing asset recovery mechanisms.

New members, including Nigeria's Code of Conduct Bureau and Cabo Verde, were welcomed into NACIWA.
