Uyi Akpata Re-elected as Nigeria Cricket Federation President for Next Term

Uyi Akpata has been re-elected as the President of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, with delegates casting their votes to elect him and 12 board members for the next four years. The election also saw Wale Obalola voted as Vice President and Tayo Atoloye returning for another term.

Various representatives, including team managers and technical representatives, were elected in a keenly contested process. Akpata, who first assumed office in 2021, has been credited with transforming Nigerian cricket through infrastructure investments and grassroots development programs.

The federation aims to build on its recent successes under Akpata's leadership.
