EFCC Commends MEDL for Enhancing Electricity Supply in Enugu, Seeks Collaboration

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Enugu commended Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) for improving electricity service quality in Enugu State. The EFCC's acting Zonal Director, Aisha Abubakar, praised MEDL for its prompt fault clearance and service enhancements, acknowledging the company's efforts to strengthen collaboration with critical stakeholders.

During a courtesy visit by MEDL's Managing Director, Ernest Mupwaya, the challenges faced by the company, including energy theft and vandalism, were discussed. Mupwaya sought the EFCC's support in addressing these issues, emphasizing the need to combat economic sabotage in the electricity sector.
