EFCC Recovers N1.2bn from Sujimoto for Uncompleted Enugu Smart Schools

The EFCC has recovered N1.2bn from Sujimoto on behalf of the Enugu state government for failing to honor an agreement to construct 22 smart schools. The anti-graft agency accused Sujimoto's Managing Director, Olasijibomi Ogundele, of breaching the contract and intent to defraud.

The Enugu State Government petitioned the EFCC after the project deadline passed without progress. The recovered funds were handed over to the state government.

EFCC officials reiterated their commitment to recovering public funds and holding contractors accountable.
