Dr. Abba Urges Unity Through Prayer This Eid-el-Fitr

On Thursday, during a Sallah message, Dr. Tajudeen Abba, the Speaker of the House, congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan.

He highlighted that the sacrifices and prayers made during this holy month are crucial for the nation's bright future. Abba expressed gratitude to God for His mercies upon Nigeria, especially in light of the country's socio-economic, security, and political challenges.

He emphasized that divine intervention through prayer is a significant factor in the country's unity and peace. Abba urged Muslims to continue embodying the piety, selflessness, and charitable virtues that Ramadan promotes, stressing that Nigerians cannot afford to reduce their prayers for a better society.

He also acknowledged the concurrent observance of Lent by Christian counterparts, suggesting a collective spiritual journey towards common good. The Speaker wished Muslims a happy celebration and prayed for the acceptance of their prayers and worship during this holy month.
