Eid-el-Fitr: Clerics Urge Unity and National Prosperity

During the Eid-el-Fitr celebration marking the end of Ramadan, Nentaw Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Grand Sheikh Dr. Rashe Akinbil emphasized the need for unity and national prosperity among Nigerians.

They highlighted Ramadan as a time for deep reflection, sacrifice, and discipline, urging citizens to carry the lessons learned into their daily lives. Yilwatda, through a media statement by APC's Special Adviser Abimbola Tooki, called on Nigerians to embrace unity and collective responsibility, especially in the face of complex national challenges.

He praised President Bola Tinubu's leadership and efforts towards sustainable economic growth and national stability. Akinbil stressed the importance of translating the discipline learned during Ramadan into long-term spiritual conduct, particularly as Nigeria approaches its next electoral cycle.

He encouraged Muslims to maintain their devotion and uphold unity, emphasizing that the spirit of Ramadan should continue to guide interactions among citizens for a harmonious Nigeria.
