Leaders Urge Unity and Peace During Eid-el-Fitr

On the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, prominent political leaders in Nigeria, including Ifeanyi Araraume, a senior chieftain of the Progressive Congress, Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, and Ahmed Makarfi, a former governor of Kaduna State, urged citizens to embrace unity and peace. Araraume highlighted the significance of Ramadan, encouraging Muslims to reflect on their devotion and share joy during the festive period.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to nation-building. Governor Uba Sani emphasized the need for Muslims to maintain values of discipline and compassion beyond Ramadan, while Makarfi called for intensified prayers for national peace and growth.

He reminded citizens of the lessons of self-discipline and sacrifice learned during Ramadan, urging support for the less privileged. Senator Sundai Katung also encouraged mutual support and peace, reinforcing that Eid-el-Fitr is not just a moment of gratitude but an opportunity to carry forward the lessons learned.
