Emir Bayero Calls for Enhanced Protection of Citizens

Aminu Ado Bayero, the 15th Emir of Kano, called on federal and state governments to intensify efforts to protect the lives and property of citizens during his Eid-el-Fitr message delivered shortly after the two rakat prayer marking the end of Ramadan at the Nasarawa Palace in Kano. In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Abubakar Balarab Kofar Na Isa, Bayero emphasized the importance of leaders considering the prevailing socio-economic conditions and prioritizing the protection of lives and property.

He urged citizens to continue praying for leaders to maintain goodwill in addressing the critical challenges faced by the population, particularly in the areas of security and food affordability. The Emir commended the federal government, members of the National Assembly, and state House of Assembly for their support during Ramadan and expressed hope for sustained efforts.

He also praised business owners and wealthy individuals for their contributions and urged them to continue ensuring the availability of essential goods for the less privileged during the festive season.
