Federal Lawmakers to Join ADC After Peter Obi's Defection

Eight federal lawmakers, including former Vice Presidential candidate Peter Obi, are set to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after his defection from the Labour Party. The move is aimed at strengthening the party's presence in the South.

The defection ceremony in Enugu was attended by notable figures like Enyinnaya Abaribe, Victor Umeh, Tony Nwoye, and Gilbert Nnaji. The lawmakers defecting include three serving senators and five members of the House of Representatives from Anambra State.
