APC Launches Campaign Council for Ekiti Governorship Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the formation of a campaign council for the Ekiti State governorship election, which will be chaired by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, with former Senate President Godswill Akpabio serving as co-chairman. The formal inauguration of the campaign council is scheduled for Wednesday at the Kashim Shettima Hall in Abuja.

The announcement was made by APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka. The council will also include Michael Opeyemi Bamidele as secretary and will consist of former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and senior party leaders tasked with coordinating the party's campaign activities.

The inauguration marks a significant step in the APC's mobilization efforts across Ekiti State, aiming to strengthen grassroots engagement and ensure victory in the upcoming election. The party anticipates close scrutiny of the council's activities due to the prominence of its members in the political landscape of the South West.
