Tinubu Endorses Oyebanji for Ekiti Governorship Re-election

During a rally in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu urged residents to re-elect Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for June 20. Tinubu commended Oyebanji's performance in office, emphasizing his leadership qualities and dedication to serving the people rather than oppressing them.

He noted the widespread support for Oyebanji, which was evident from the absence of opposition posters throughout the state. Tinubu highlighted Oyebanji's humility, patience, and respect for traditional rulers and past leaders.

Vice President Kashim Shettima and other APC leaders, including Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, also expressed their support for Oyebanji. Tinubu's endorsement reflects the APC's confidence in Oyebanji's ability to connect with the people and continue delivering on promises made since taking office.
