APC Targets 500,000 Votes for Oyebanji in Ekiti

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is targeting a minimum of 500,000 votes for Governor Biodun Oyebanji's re-election in Ekiti State, with a focus on all 177 wards. Cyril Fasuyi, the campaign director, disclosed this goal during a press conference in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday.

The campaign is set to officially kick off on April 27, 2026, and will commence at the grassroots level, utilizing door-to-door and street canvassing strategies. Fasuyi highlighted Oyebanji's first-term performance, which he claims surpasses that of his predecessor, Dr.

Kayode Fayemi. The campaign will emphasize transparency and engagement with the people of Ekiti, showcasing achievements such as road repairs, salary payments, and healthcare improvements.

Fasuyi also noted the importance of a disciplined and hardworking campaign team, ensuring that all APC members participate equally without any internal conflicts. The campaign's focus will be on positive messaging and avoiding violence, with a commitment to maintaining peace throughout the electoral process.
