APC Campaign in Ekiti to Launch April 27, 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its governorship campaign in Ekiti State will officially commence on April 27, 2026. The campaign aims to secure a minimum of 500,000 votes in the gubernatorial election scheduled for June 20, 2026.

Senator Cyril Fasuyi, representing the Ekiti North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, made this announcement during a press conference held at the Governor's office in Ado Ekiti. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed the election date.

The campaign will focus on discipline and hard work, emphasizing the achievements of the current governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, who is seeking re-election. The campaign strategy will involve a grassroots approach, engaging members from every senatorial district, local government, and ward, while maintaining a peaceful and respectful environment.

Fasuyi assured that the campaign would not rely on falsehoods or exaggerations and would be based on the party's record and plans.
