Oyebanji Wins at Senator Bamidele’s Polling Unit in Ekiti

In the recent Ekiti State governorship election, Oyebanji emerged victorious at Senator Bamidele’s polling unit, obtaining 164 votes. His nearest competitor, Dr.

Wole Oluyede from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), received only eight votes, while Mr. Ayodeji Ojo of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) placed a distant third.

Senator Bamidele expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election, praising the impressive voter turnout across the state. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its prompt deployment of electoral officials and materials across the 16 local government areas of Ekiti State.

According to INEC, there were 1,059,360 registered voters, with 1,028,929 collecting their permanent voter cards.
