PDP Takes Legal Action Against INEC Over Ekiti Governorship Candidate Exclusion

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) is heading to court to challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the exclusion of its candidate, Dr. Oluwol Oluyede, from the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election.

The PDP accuses INEC of acting in bad faith and failing to comply with electoral laws by not including Oluyede in the list of candidates. The party claims that INEC blocked their nomination portal access and later resorted to manual submission, which they argue has far-reaching consequences.

PDP is seeking to compel INEC to recognize Oluyede as a validly nominated candidate through legal action.
