PDP Candidate Oluyede Challenges Oyebanji to Debate

Dr. Wole Oluyede, the governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has publicly challenged the current governor, Biodun Oyebanji, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to a debate.

This challenge was made during a stakeholders' meeting attended by party members across the 177 wards in the state. Oluyede aims to provide voters with an opportunity to assess the performance of the current administration against the proposals of the PDP.

He promised prompt payment of gratuities, an affordable health scheme, and job creation as part of his campaign. Oluyede emphasized a scientific approach to campaigning, utilizing data analysis to engage voters and mobilize grassroots support.

He urged party members to intensify grassroots mobilization and build a strong campaign structure focused on understanding and addressing the needs of the people. PDP chieftain Duro Faseyi affirmed Oluyede's candidacy, encouraging the people of Ekiti to rally for a turnaround in the state's situation.
