Ekiti Princess Funmi Fagboyo Backs Oyebanji's Re-Election

Funmi Fagboyo, an Ekiti princess and pharmacist, has publicly declared her support for the re-election of Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji as he prepares for the 2026 governorship election. Speaking at an event in Osi Ekiti, Fagboyo praised Oyebanji's leadership style and his achievements, particularly in infrastructure, healthcare, and education.

She emphasized that his leadership is people-centric and has significantly transformed the state, showcasing a commitment to public service. Fagboyo expressed pride in joining the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledged to work tirelessly to support Oyebanji's re-election bid.

The APC state chairman, Sola Elesin, assured the people of Osi Ekiti that the party remains committed to delivering programs that meet community needs and recognizing the unique contributions of Osi Ekiti to the state's growth. The Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the Ekiti governorship election for June 20, with Oyebanji as the APC candidate facing opponents from 13 political parties, including the People's Democratic Party and the African Democratic Congress.
