PRP Candidate Ayodele Olaniyi Condemns Campaign Vandalism

Ayodele Olaniyi, the governorship candidate for the People's Redemption Party (PRP) in Ekiti State, issued a strong condemnation regarding the destruction of campaign materials belonging to rival candidates. In a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday afternoon, Olaniyi described these acts as electoral vandalism and unacceptable in a democratic society.

He emphasized the importance of fair and peaceful political engagement, urging all political actors to respect the rights of candidates and allow them to present their messages freely to the electorate. Olaniyi called on relevant security agencies and authorities in the state to ensure that the democratic space remains open and safe for all participants in the electoral process.

He reminded the public not to allow such intolerant acts to undermine the integrity of the upcoming governorship election scheduled for June 20, urging all stakeholders to conduct themselves peacefully and focus on presenting ideas to build a better future for Ekiti State.
