EKSU's 30th Convocation Highlights Global Academic Growth

Ekiti State University (EKSU) is preparing for its 30th convocation, which aims to highlight the institution's commitment to internationalization and academic growth. Vice Chancellor Professor Joseph Ayodele stated that the university is pursuing global partnerships to enhance research and learning opportunities for staff and students.

The convocation will serve as a strategic platform to celebrate graduates and showcase EKSU's developmental strides. Scheduled events include a lecture by Ayodeji Omol titled "Power, Responsibility, and Stewardship: Balancing the Barricades of Governance." The main award ceremony will occur on Friday and Saturday, with approximately 11,000 graduates expected to receive various qualifications.

Additionally, honorary doctorates will be awarded to distinguished alumni, including Abayomi Adeyeri and Akinsanmi Falaki, in recognition of their contributions to the institution and professional achievements. The convocation is anticipated to attract alumni, stakeholders, and dignitaries from within and outside the country.
